The Latest on CBR’s Blue Dog Tour
Our effort to stop abortion funding in ObamaCare seems to be working! We have been driving our hard-to-miss trucks in the districts of Congressmen whose votes are critical to final passage of ObamaCare. These trucks are fitted with signs (example shown) that invite constituents to call their Congressman and urge him/her to vote against any health care bill that includes funding for abortion. So far, we have gotten commitments from four “Blue Dogs” to vote against any bill that includes abortion funding. They include Rep. Gene Taylor (MS), Rep. Dan Boren (OK), Rep. Steve Driehaus (OH), and Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper (PA). All of them have agreed that they will oppose any legislation that departs from the abortion-funding restrictions contained in the Stupak Amendment to the House version of ObamaCare. Here’s one story. Here is our latest press release. If stopping abortion funding is important, please help us drive this point home!

Carmelo Linne says:Barack Obama in addition to all his liberal cronies should really be embarrassed with them selves. This is an absolute outrage. I was under the idea that when the us president will take office he is obligated to swear an oath to support and also protect the constitution of the usa. Nowhere in the Constitution did it give the federal government the authority to be able to enact as well as enforce laws and regulations such as the medical care reform bill. I really believe these power mongers will probably be in for a proper surprise around November. Congratulations over the demise of your political careers.

Mike at White Flood says:Hi – great article. As we all know, the healthcare plan is now law. There are still a lot of questions about it, but one thing that’s sure is that it will be expensive. I’m a small-business owner, and I worry about the increase in taxes. I want to hire more people, but this law makes things extra difficult for us little guys. Here’s my problem: If it’s harder for us to hire new employees, how does this economy recover? Anyway… slick site… I’m subscribed to your RSS feed now so thanks again!
